Thank you for your interest. Professional Photography Skills of Diane McKinney As a photographer for the Navy, my grandfather was the first to instill in me a passion for photography. He not only shot the pictures, but as they could only shoot in black and white, he then painstakingly hand tinted each image. This inspiration set the stage for my more formal education. From a professor who taught at Duke University, I received exceptional tutelage, and, as a result, my photographic and digital darkroom skills go far beyond those of the average photographer. In addition to my mastery of the camera itself, I also bring an intuitive sense of balance to this art form, enabling me to bring forth the most beautiful elements from each shot. Also, my ability to draw people out and put them at ease, allows me to capture the best of even the shyest of subjects. My clients most frequently comment how friends, unable to attend, view the pictures and feel like they were really there. Additionally, most have commented on how I was able to capture the mood and essence of the day. She participated in yearbook and newspaper taking photographs and continued on through college. She has been an avid photographer and is working on additional certifications to constantly improve her craft. She has a fun and energetic personality that her clients love.
